Wow! We visited yesterday lunch, it was a Chef's surprise menu. We are treated with great dishes and have wonderful lunch. Although there are no kids menu available, we have to share our portions with our young kids. The staff is quite accommodating to our requests. The basement is designed to look like a cave, and the dining experience is... More

We love great food. This time in Paris we had two wonderful experiences. sola was one and the other was esens'all. Both were tripadvisor recommendations. Each was an 8 course degustation. Sola's food was fresh, delightful and interesting combinations and a real culinary experience. Esens'all took us on a wonderful food journey but it missed out slightly on two of... More

I'm a self proclaimed foodie! I will search out the best food I can find, and I don't care what it costs. I work to eat and travel. This was hands down the best food I've ever eaten. I'm not going to even begin to describe it but will say that it is intricate and creative without compromising or distracting... More

Really inventive and exciting food. Every dish was memorable, unique and delicious. The service was excellent and the range of wines and juices was superb. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere - the volume is not loud and not too quiet. The tables are well spaced apart and the wooden beams add to the fullness of character. The staff were... More

My wife and I visited Sola on our first trip to Paris. We selected Sola based on online reviews, and we were not disappointed. The Staff was exceptional, guiding us through the menu and provided good after-dinner advice for the night on the town in Paris. The atmosphere is great, very romantic for my wife and I. Then there is... More

Intimate. Secretative. Mystery and anticipation. Diners are attending a feast of the chefs imagination. Each night, each course, a different adventure. Other than drinks, and a polite inquiry if you are food allergy prone, there are no other choices you make. The courses appear magically, and the anticipation begins again. Exquisite. The presentation impeccable.

There are very few restaurants that have made exclaim 'f***ing hell' when eating my first mouth full of a dish but this is one of them. We had a 8 course menu and every dish was complex and showcased modern techniques and classic ingredients. Squid which I think was cooked 'sous vide' melted in the mouth and was just one... More

This one-star Michelin restaurant was the perfect blend of Japanese artistry and French tastes and techniques. The chef was able to combine French and Asian ingredients into a near perfect union of tastes. The plating of dishes presented a simple beauty that further enhanced the dining experience. The miso marinated foie gras with a burnt creme brulee sugar coating was... More

Very nice fusion of Japanese and French food, from squid in ink to lovely roasted pigeon breast. Service was faultless, presentation superb and ambiance perfect. If you go there try and reserve your table in the Japanese salons which are downstairs in the vaulted cellars. Simple touches that made the experience perfect, I happen to mention that it was my...
