On the last night of our trip, we ate at this wonderful restaurant in Chinon. The decor is beautiful in this restored building - very light and clean. However, it was the food that was the highlight. Fantastic from beginning to end. The staff were very kind and adaptable. Booking is a MUST though!

Two of us ordered the duck, and asked for it cooked medium. One was raw, the other well done. Veal was tough and poor quality. The sauce on both were very good, but it as if a beginner tried to cook. Dessert was OK.

We chose this restaurant by accident and had a very good meal. The room is classy and elegant. Staff were very friendly and the food exceptional. Definitely the place to go in Chinon. Quite small so you should probably book.

Wow, this place was just sensational. The cusine was amazing - wonderful flavor combinatons, a great wine selection, a beautiful atmosphere and cozy ! I would rate this the number one restaurant in Chinon if you are looking for 'gourmet dining' with a flair. There are only eight tables - very intimate.

Very good restaurant. The menus offer a large variety of French dishes. Service was friendly and the atmosphere very cosy. A little disappointment however on the wine we were suggested to have. Also, it's a bit pricey, albeit it was packed on a mid-week night
