If your travelling with your dearest or just like me with three friends on a bike ride, if in Blois don't miss it. From the moment you walk through the door you just relax and let all your cares slip away. The staff are attentive without being on top of you, the food is first class. All in all a... More

It has been a few months since we dined here, so I can no longer recall the specifics of the evening. What I can say is that the lingering impression after al this time was a wonderful, romantic setting, excellent service, outstanding cuisine, and of course, as one would expect, a pricey tab. If you don't care about price or... More

After a disappointment the day before we had really high expectations on L'Orangerie. And... everything was right: The place next to the chateau was historical, yet refiend, the service inpeccable and the food exquisite. After a champagne aperitif we had two of the pièces de resistance of the menu: Cuisses de grenoulles, which were by far the best of its... More

I am an expatriated Frenchman to the UK for 13 years now. On many of my visits back home in Paris I have often been truly disappointed with what is now on offer in a regular French restaurant. My visit to Blois following a trip to a place belonging to my childhood in this area reminded me how much the... More

We were lucky that it was a sunny day. We had dinner and we ate outside. it was magic. The atmosphere, the service, the food, the aperitif and the wines... very well recommended and i would go there again. It is not cheap, even expensive, but worth every penny

We sat outside here and it was such a spectacular setting, let alone the food that was to come! The staff were so lovely and they were training a 12 year old boy to be a waiter and he was so professional. Everything is in French (obviously) so it doesn't pander to tourists and even though we weren't sure always... More

orangerie du chateau This was a great enjoyable moment. Luckily weather was super and we had dinner on the terrace, with a splendid view on the castle. Nice and well balanced menu. Portion size are correct and great quality. Very friendly service. Despite cheese was not included in the menu, we were not charged for it. This restaurant is really... More

Food was amazing, if you eat there try the souffle for desert - but leave room for it its light and fluffy but comes with about 5 other "amuse bouche" as it were. Fixed price menues are varied and provide a good range of prices with the most expensive for 5 courses including 2 lobster courses at about €80 Euros... More
