Wanted to find a non touristic restaurant without crepes, etc and in Concarneau there are very few of these. Found Le Belem towards the end of the town and saw it was relatively full of French people and few tourists. Went on a recommendation from someone who lives in the area. It was good, solid food. My partner had the fruits de mer (nice selection, fresh). I had the salad with goat cheese toasts (expensive at 9E) and moules frites. Split a 1/2 bottle of Sancerre (16E).

We stumbled upon this one after wandering around the market which is held on the square right in front. Outside seating was limited, so we went inside. Attentive and helpful. Some english spoken. Introduced to Lambig as the local Bretagne calvados for a digestif. Good menu at 29.90€ but could eat for quite a bit less.
