Briefly, incredibly enthusiastic and helpful proprietor who is really passionate about good wine which ever country it comes from. We had a cheese plate which was of a similar high quality as the wine. Le wine bar does a limited selection of food but it is predominantly about the wine. Would highly recommend and visit again next time in Bordeaux.

By reading the other reviews of Le Wine Bar I got the impression that this was a restaurant but it is what the name says so don't count on having dinner there. It's great for wine tasting but they only have some tapas like ham and cheese plates to go with the wine.

Its like the small happy pub in the movies - live music, a small place that can seat about 20 ppl.. Looks like family run and gives the service a personal touch and one feels very welcomed... never had so much fun just sitting at one place.. loved it!

Great vibes, really yummy platters of cheeses/meats/bread to share, and (as you'd expect) a good wine list with an emphasis on quality. At €6-€7 per glass, however, it is difficult to sample more than a couple of wines if you're on a budget.
