This is a special place if you love cheese. They have so many cheeses to savour and the staff are very knowledgeable. We took a baby and had no problems at all. It is expensive and maybe 'just the once' visit is enough.

Seems popular, we went without a reservation and had to wait for half an hour. But it was worth it. They are said to have 200 cheeses! A very special niche, differs from the typical alcasien restaurant with choucroute. We had a three course meal, that was very nice. But the fondues surely looked tempting. Not so cheap. But I... I took my sister and her b/f to Strasbourg on their first Euro-trip to check out the sites. I came across La Cloche a Fromage via TA reviews and made reservations morning of our trip to Strasbourg. Good thing I called, b/c as we got there, some people without reservations were turned away. I'm learning that just about every popular... More

We ate a marvelous fondue here! The best we have ever tried! My husband loves cheese and for him it was like being in paradise. I don´t love cheese this much, but even so the fondue surprised me. We ordered the blue cheese fondue. The only thing I didn´t like was the strong smell of cheese on the inside, but... More

Make sure you come here fully (not half) starved - my wife and I are still reeling from the massive amounts of cheese we dropped into our bellies here, but man was it worth it! To resolve any confusion, the fondue and raclette courses are served a la volonte (ie all you can order and eat) style. The raclette is... More

We had a great evening here between Christmas and New Years... my husband and I shared 2 fondues - Alsace Muenster and Blue Cheese - the Muenster was the best but both were wonderful. Our traveling couple enjoyed the salads and sausages. A great restaurant with very attentive staff and a wonderful atmosphere. Don't pass this one by during your... More

We had a wonderful night here! The service was attentive, friendly and informative---there were so many cheeses and dishes to choose from that we welcomed the knowledge of the staff. Between four of us we chose the fondue(you choose the type of cheese), a cheese plate and the raclette. All were wonderful choices. Watching the fondue being mixed at the... More

I wasn't sure about going to a cheese restaurant for evening meal, but needn't have been concerned at all. You can definitely have fondue and heated raclette cheese dripping on your veges (and why not), but the salads and other mains are lovely as well, good wine list, very good service. All in all a great place to go in... More

Nice place with a great selections of cheeses. Fondue, offered in various versions, is very good and makes a play to eat it. We found very kind waiters but a special note is for the joung lady, perhaps a bit robust, who greets clients with a fantastic smile in a ruddy face. very important to make a reservation.
