We dined quite late on a Tuesday night so it was not that busy. The starter we had was a mixed platter, and it was excellent, especially the prawns. The mains were very good too. Would go again.

I have no idea why this is in the top 100 restaurants in our glorious city. I've been here twice and it was toilet both times.
Its basically sugary overpriced food served in cramped environment.
The lighting is nice and the decor isn't bad, but that's still cant destract from the fact the food tastes nothing like good Thai food...

Dear SENIOR Contributor,
I am sorry that our Thai food did not please your palette or wallet.
I usually try to be as courteous to all potential diners; however I apologise in advance if my response sounds sassy. I genuinely appreciate your positive criticism.

This wasn't our first choice of Thai restaurants in Manchester but we'd certainly recommend it and go back again. It's in the Chinese Quarter and there is a first floor bar and eating area, with music and TV screens but on the floor above is the main restaurant which has a much better atmosphere. It was a busy Saturday evening...

We have enjoyed thai food for many years and have eaten in thai restaurants throughout the area.
Try Thai is among the best we have dined in. The food was served quickly and beautifully presented.
The crispy sea bass dish had a good balance of flavours and blended well with the jasmine rice. The jumbo king prawn was also very...

We were lucky to pass by this restaurant. A little bit hidden and up on the second floor. We were in Thailand for the Holiday 2012, and I felt being back in Thailand. Great food at a great value and great atmosphere.
Good food - they stated that the halaal chicken and beef are stored and cooked separately, so was reassured.
The red curry and beef cashewnut stir fry were good, but not Thai enough for me as it was a bit sweet and not hot!
Next time I will ask them to make it more spicy and hot!
Wonderful selection of...

Tried the set three course lunch today.super value for £8.50 and a very wide choice of starters, main course and an ice cream dessert. Naturally, the usual smiling, professional and speedy service from the Thai staff. Would wholeheartedly recommend the Try Thai for lunch and look forward to going in the evening in the future.
We went here as a party of five, and had a really enjoyable meal. We were a bit unadventurous and went for one of the standard banquets, but it turned out to be an excellent choice. The food was freshly cooked, delicious, the ingredients were very good quality and the dishes were a bit unusual. Highly recommended.
I go here often for lunch. It is wonderful. Better than most of the Chinese restaurants in Chinatown. Its fairly quick at lunchtime which is what I need, and the dining space is bright and airy.
Absolutely love this place but when I had a hair on my plate of food, i asked for it to be removed, expecting the waitress to at least apologise, if not offer to get me a new plate, but she literally just looked at the plate and pulled the hair off and walked off.. I was annoyed at that but...
