A very enjoyable dining experience. Food was good especially the boxty and the service quiet smart and friendly. I would advise booking as it was very busy even in midweek, we will return.
Located on High Street, Killarney - this place is fantastic. Enter through the store downstairs and head up to the best restaurant in town! They offer 2 or 3 course dinners for a fixed price if you arrive before 7 pm. Have the boxty, a house specialty - I had the chicken with vegetables in a creamy tarragon sauce. So... More
Had the 2 course set menu for (i think) 21 euros. the seafood soup was good, boxty with chicken was a large quantity but nothing special. wine was so overpriced i would not consider it, but this is typical in ireland.
The lamb and vegetable boxty was wonderful! The host and wait staff were extremely warm and friendly. We highly recommend.
It was a nice restaurant. The service was acceptable, and the food was average Irish fare. We had an enjoyable evening. I would recommend it to my friends.
Reallly good menu with a number of very traditional Irish dishes. Don't miss the last page ! It is possible to get a bottle of wine for two. Half a litre instead of the normal .375 half bottles. The Rack of Lamb and fsih chowder are terrific.
We came upon the Bricin looking for a menu to accomodate our 7 year old coeliac and were impressed from the start by the reaction of the waitresses and the good atmosphere in the restaurant. Dining out can sometimes be tricky with a young gluten intolerant kid when in search of healthy options but we dined liked kings. We, both... More
I took my husband to Bricin for his birthday and based on our Inn Keeper's recommendation. We were not disappointed. The food was good with lots of great choices and the service was warm, friendly and prompt! As an added bonus, the manager/owner? had the restaurant sing happy birthday to my husband and personally served him dessert! Nice Touch!
This is one of my favorite restaurants in the world. It manages to feel intimate even with a full house. Although we saw the staff kept very busy, we didn't feel a bit rushed. And though we were dressed up for an anniversary night out, and others came in jeans and sweatshirts, nothing felt out of place and we had... More
