This is one of our favourite local restaurants. The food is consistently good and the service always great. The new pizza menu is quite a hit with the kids, whilst the well stocked bookshelves keep them amused when waiting for food. If you go there try the Sicilain with sausage, caramelized onions and sour cream - delicious!!

The Pins Pub is located in The Twelve Hotel on the Barna Coast Road which is only a 15 minute drive from Galway City Center. It is a delightful change from the hustle bustle to along the seaside in this lovely town and to dine in this pub which is full of Irish ambiance in a very comfortable setting. There... More

Ate here recently again with friends, we were celebrating a birthday and were hoping for a good night out. The food was fabulous and the service was very attentive. Some ordered fish and said it was perfect, one of the girls and I shared a pizza, yum. The place was full and had a lovely buzz about the place. It... More

Had lunch here recently on a quiet Saturday. Just a quick bite of chicken salad, chicken wings and curry scented chips. The salad and wings were tasty enough the chips however were undercooked and you could taste oil from them. Wouldn't mind trying a pizza next time but won't be rushing back.

..... however the chef needs to read the menu. Chicken salad had no sunflower seeds and the dressing only had sniffed balsamic if at all. The main of salmon was delicious but no dillisk which i was looking forward to trying. That said it was scraped plates all round! It was a lovely night and the staff are great. Definitely... More

Salmon- great! Surf n turf needs work. If you have to search for the meat under a bed of baby spinach, it isn't surf n turf. They should do away with this item. One meal w/ one beer and one tea cost 30 USD! Staff was nice, but too few. Guiness was salty tasting.

I have eaten here on numerous occasions and have always enjoyed it. Sometimes there can be a bit of a wait for a table but staff are always very accommodating, courteous and pleasant. There is a great atmosphere here and I look forward to returning. Keep up the good work!

Husband and 2 adult children popped in one evening for our T. It was busy and there was a great buzz. Manager Connor Fleming had us quickly seated and we had a lovely feed. Food is freshly prepared and arrives piping hot, I hate lukewarm or cold food. Service was excellent and friendly and it is a lovely place to... More

A very busy restaurant with no reservations. Used to be called Twelve Pins, now just the Pins. I didn't have a starter, too big a lunch. My main course was lovely piece of sea-trout with plenty of vegetables. I don't sea-trout on menu's as often these days so that was a real treat. Decent wine and Guinness of course.

The pizzas were very good. They use animal rennet free cheese, so this is good for vegetarians. The pizzas are wood fired. The area is nice & close to Galway city center by car.
