We have visited several times. The food is always good, not expensive and the staff are wonderful. On this last visit, when I asked where I could buy an Ipad wire as I had forgotten mine, the waiter offered to charge it in his flat over the road: what a star! More

We looked at lots of restaurants in Templebar before choosing the Boxty House for our lunch. The lunch menu is slightly cheaper than the full menu and the portions are smaller. I chose the Irish stew and my partner chose steak sandwich with chunky chips. The food was nice and the atmosphere was good . I would recommend this restaurant. More

My wife and I dined here for lunch one day. She had a chicken boxty, and I had a special consisting of bangers and mash. Both were excellent. I especially recommend trying a boxty. It was unique and quite delicious with quality ingredients. More
