Great Sunday sessions had here or late night weekends. Also have an extensive Tapas menu available. Good outdoor seating and people watching.
Had lunch here recently and the Sunday lunch menu has been greatly reduced to a more brunch style menu. Not a great selection if you didn't want breakfast at 3pm. Ordered a salad and a sandwich. Waited a good half hour for food to arrive. Chicken is salad was completely overcooked and rubbery. Can't see us returned when so many... More
Our last night in Ireland and we were wandering around and saw the Tapas sign. Very crowded restaurant and bar with extremely loud music but luckily (maybe our age) the waitress took us through and into the Powerscourt where it was much quieter and not crowded.
I recently had lunch at Pygmalion with a work colleague. It is located in the centre atrium of the Powerscourt Shopping Centre, surrounded by stylish shops. There is plenty of seating & you can be guaranteed a good view of the shopping centre no matter where you sit. I ordered the Seared Tuna Fish salad it was absolutely delicious; perfectly... More
I've only experienced the tapas from the Pyg. All of which is served in a bruschetta fashion. I have to say it was all delicious. I enjoyed mine while sitting on a sofa outside on a blazing sunny day surrounded by friends and quietly slipping pieces of chorizo to my friends huskey pup. I can think of worse ways to... More
Really loved this restaurant, food was so delicious and tasty, this kind of food makes me so so happy ! Atmosphere is brilliant and the setting is amazing. Feels like you are dining outdoors even though there's a roof over your head. They really have a very special location. The only downside was the service. Our waiter was really good... More
Had brunch here yesterday and it was absolutely delicious. Smoked salmon, roasted asparagus, perfectly poached egg and hollandaise on lovely soft soda bread - yummy. My partners eggs Benny was equally delicious. Service was efficient and friendly, no complaints on that score either. Wouldn't hesitate to return here.
We just came from a lunch while walking about Dublin on a Sunday. We were in the Powerscourt House area and it looked like a nice place for a late breakfast. The food was quite good, designed to be Euro 10 pretty much no matter what you order. One of us had the full Irish Breakfast, the other a Salmon/Asparagus... More
Visited this restaurant at lunchtime on 21st Aug and was seated on a high stool at a very long table. There was no room between the tables and waiting staff had to lean over people all the time to serve food. It was very hard to catch waitress attention to order my chowder. When it arrived it was salty, full... More
A party of 10 of us ate here recently & the selection of tapas was huge making decisions difficult ... always a good complaint! We should have taken the advice of our lovely waitress (who suggested 3-4 dishes per person) & we would have had the perfect amount of food but of course everything looked so good we choose far...
