We were walking by on Sunday morning just before 1100 and there was a line for the cafe! We browsed the store a little then settled in for a late breakfast. its always a visual overload stepping into avoca, everything looks so nice, the arrangement and the food and the gifts and homeware etc, and this cafe is very busy so its understandable when staff get a little strained, i would be too. food is not as good as the avoca in kilmacanogue tho.
A hidden gem on the 2nd floor of the beautiful Avoca store. nice store with lots of gift to take home. upstairs they had woolen thread and childrens gifts, main floor had all kinds of things to buy, and downstairs was a take away deli/bakery
I always like to go into Avoca stores - the bright and cheerful colours alone help lighten the mood (should it need to be lightened!) I just about always bring or reccoment these stores to out of town visitors as there is always something different to find here that is a 'must have'.
