We popped in for a quick lunch and were pleasantly surprised. Great service, delicious daily special and nice ambiance.
I would classify this as a cafe/deli/wine bar not a restaurant as such. They serve authentic Italian cured meat & cheese boards, nice coffee, piadinas, bruschetta, a small but adequate selection of wines. I enjoyed the food and the conversation friendly atmosphere our wine and coffee were very nice. The waiter was very welcoming. I’ve been to visit the Emilia-Romagna... More
I went there two times during my Erasums in Dublin and I completely loved it! the food is real italian food, imported directly from italy, cooked and served as italians would do. After all, that place is run by italians. you can enjoy PIADA and TIGELLE (a particular kind of bread), balsamic vinegar and all the meat and cheese (like... More
This is definitely the best spot in town for a quick and cheap bite. Taste of Emilia serves excellent food from the Emilia Romagna region (best known for the production of Parmisan cheese and Parma ham). It's a unique wine bar/coffee shop that exudes a great atmosphere. Ideal for lunch or for a nice aperitivo, you won't be disapponted. Don't... More
First ever visit to Taste of Emilia today for some Saturday lunch, and I am very annoyed I didn't visit sooner. As other reviewers have said, its very authentically Italian. Our sandwiches were very fresh, tasty and nicely prepared. My wife's wrap with parma and artichoke cream was by far the tastiest of the two, my pannini with regular ham... More
Very cosy and nice Italian corner... great Spritz... nice food... will certainly recommend and be back again... unfortunately it's a bit expensive... but the food quality and the staff courtesy is excellent! :)
staff are very friendly. the ottocento nero is rather like an adult Ribena. Fruity and way too easy to drink. Lovely selection of meats and cheeses. Great atmosphere and full of Italian expats.
Cristiana has the kind of place that you wish--no, pray--would move into your neighborhood! My husband and son happened upon the restaurant by accident, but they brought us back on purpose. We had several piadini before Cristiana brought us out her special meats and cheeses--truthfully, we were full after the piadini, but the food at Taste of Emilia was so... More
Typically Italian as in the very best ingredients served on platters and a must for sharing with friends along with a bottle or two of wine, this is a small and unpretentious authentic Italian deli that has a great buzz about it, informal and good fun.
