We had drank in the bar the night before and decided to eat here. Menu was very good with a lot of Irish dishes. Friendly atmosphere and a good price.
A whole menu devoted to vegetarians (there's another for meat eaters too) - I felt spoilt for choice. The bread and dip selection starter was fabulous, the service quick and friendly and the bill was 50 Euro for two starters, two mains and a bottle of wine.
The first night of our stay in Dublin we were told to go to The Quays. Because it was rainy we took a cab from the Shelbourne Hotel, however, the walk was only going to be 15 mins. Our group consisted of 12 people, we made a reservation in advance. Everyone was very pleased with their choices. Excellent service and... More
Four of us travelled by train from Belfast to Dublin. We headed to Temple Bar to find somewhere to have lunch. We found The Quays and were certainly not disappointed. The menu was large with plenty of choice. Two of us chose Fish Chowder as starter and I have to say it was one of the best chowder I have... More

The Quays Restaurant is a great place to wind down your day of visiting the Dublin sights! It's in the Temple Bar area of downtown Dublin and has some awesome deals! Make sure to get in before 6pm to get one of the many lunch specials for €10 a person.
If you go here and SOMEONE doesn't order the cottage pie, you are making a HUGE mistake. My mouth is watering just typing about it. It was by far, the best thing I ate on my trip to Ireland. The cottage pie is to die for.... Order it. Eat it.... I'm being completely serious. LOVE!
the burgers are fab as is all the food. the upstairs restaurant is very spacious. the staff friendly and efficient. the prices good.
