Cannot understand the negative reviews posted about this restaurant, had great night there, everyone in the group enjoyed their meal. Great choice and excellent quality. Ignore the bad reviews and try it, you will be very pleasantly surprised. More

To be fair - the food was lovely - well done to the chefs!. My meal in particular was delicious. My sister booked our table for Mother's day. She was told we could have the table from 3 to 5pm. We arrived bang on 3 but our table wasnt ready and we were asked to stand beside the desk. When... More

My last review, "outstanding food, poor service" was written a few months back and as I mentioned my family have dined in this resturant quite alot over the past few years , so I was starting to think of giving it another try as the food is super, but the recent reviews have changed my mind, the common thread though... I have no idea what the food was like as we did not get to eat there We booked for 15 a special family occasion. When we arrived our table booking had been deleted. The manager in charge Carl was ultra-friendly but of little use he seemed to assume as it was not him that had deleted the booking he... More

We had an evening meal here. The food - brushetta, lamb & steak were fab. The surroundings are warm - (fairy lights inc) and cosy. The service was effecient. A good mix of diners - kids catered for. We woud return. More

I joined a group of 6 other people for a birthday celebration dinner which had been pre booked. We would all be reasonably local. From the minute we arrived, the male waiter was shockingly rude to us as individuals and customers. The party of 7 was squished into a corner, and he constantly complained when we moved our chairs to... More

I live near The Washerwoman's Hill restaurant and eat there on a reasonably regular basis. If you stick to the special menus (e.g., €20 for 3 courses on so-called ladies night) then it represents good value in a pleasant environment. Eating from the a la carte menu can be quite expensive, and it is generally not worth the money -... More
