Always jammers in the winter so we couldn't sit in but I didn't mind. The selection of hot chocolate is amazing, so much there! The hot chocolate is divine, perfect to warm you up! I love the chocolate! Really great! More

I live in Cork and was introduced to the cafe by a friend, and since then I have introduced many more friends to the cafe.Their chocolate drinks are SO amazing that I cannot go for too many days without them.I almost always go into the city centre for a chocolate drink. Their pralines are out of this world I have... More

on visiting oconails i was delighted with the realness of the place.unlike most chains of cafes this place was more homely with ACTUAL people behind the counter and not just robots in a uniform.I have noticed that they have kept the same staff for many years which has to be a good sign.I am still amazed that although i only... The hot chocolate in O'Connaill's is great, really great. The best hot chocolate I've had and I love chocolate. BUT, I live in Cork and I rarely go here as the staff are awul and the shop itself is bleak. You buy hot chocolate for a nice experience, not to be stared at rudely, ignored and even given out to.... I came to this shop this week in Princess street, the girl (spanish/italian looking) behind the counter had nothing to do, no customers in the shop, but an attitude..OMFG.. don't address your customers with 'what'!! Little rude *itch, I left and of course didn't buy anything. More

Great news O'Conaill's are now open on Princes St. I try to stay away from here as much as possible - for my waistlines sake!!!! This shop is always busy - but I just had to say I was so impressed by the following story - I would like to share it. My brother was in Cork City with his... More

This is a review of the simply sublime brownies I purchased from O' Connaill's at a last minute order on Friday. I called the bakery to say I'd be visiting Cork that weekend and would it be possible to order a large chocolate brownie cake for my boyfriend. The lady was so accommodating, and went out of her way to... More

Visited here last saturday morning and was very disappointed. The waitress was completely disinterested and almost rude. My coffee was very acrid tasting and the chocolate brownie was extremely dry as if it had been baked a few days before. Sadly i dont think ill be frequenting here again as the whole experience was very poor. More
