I have been here six or seven times previously and this was the first ocassion that I was disappointed with the offering. I felt that the overall attention to detail was not to the same previously very high standard, and the food, while still very nice, was in my view no better than a host of other good restaurants in... Went here ona friend's recommendation. There are two fixed price menus one at about €33 for three courses the other at €45. The cheaper menu includes a glass of house wine. We opted for the dearer menu, which offers the same dishes as the cheaper menu plus a few extra options. While the food is very tasty and nicely presented,... More

This was my second visit. First time, although expensive, was probably one of the best meals I've ever had. This time it was still very good but I felt very overpriced for what it was. There are restaurants serving equally good food for around 40% less. I will give it the benefit of the doubt and go again. Let's hope... More

Consistently delicious food. We go to les gourmandises at least once a month- never disappointed. The staff are great - very professional and friendly. The food is amazing- nothing like it in Cork. Fine dining with the ambience to match. Love it.

We had a booking for 6 p.m. on a Saturday evening and were out of courtesy five/ six minutes early. I went into the restaurant and was told to go back outside and wait as they didn't open until six p.m. Definitely not very customer friendly and I am sorry we waited ! Food was only OK. Service was non... More

We happened to be in Cork for our 30 year wedding anniversary. The hotel recommended this place for our special dinner and made the reservations for us. It was a fabulous meal. Its very quaint and french. Having just come from Paris, it was like we were still there! Excellent food and service, they even brought us a little cake... More

I have been to Les Gourmandises on various occasions. It is always fine dining and the service is exceptional. I don't have a bad thing to say about the place and everyone I have brought there has always loved it.

I dined here with my wife and both had the prix-fixe menu. First word of warning: if you want any potatoes and vegetables, these need to be ordered separately as they are not included in the price. The staff were pleasant enough though not very engaging. However when getting our coats they were quite friendly. We started with the tasting... More
