As an avid Donkey Ford's lover in Limerick I was apprehensive about believing Jackie's could beat it. But... with the addition of potato pies to my life I have to say... It's a close one! Lovely fish and chips, best potato pies, vintage Ireland feel and fast, efficient and entertaining service and staff!! More

I really wish there was a chip shop like Lennoxs here in Ohio!! :-( I go there EVERY time I'm in Cork city. I think the service is fast and efficient and the staff are pretty friendly as well. I suppose, though, if they opened one near me I'd be as fat as a fool!! ha-ha Best chipper in Ireland... More

Good food, fast & efficient service and pleasant staff... as for the people arguing that it shouldn't be called a restaurant...it does exactly what it says on the tin and it is not claiming to be anything it isn't! Sometimes all that will fill the gap is fish & chips :) More

Some of the best fish and chips I have had since I've been in London - although London's Fish & Chips are still better - but this place is EXCELLENT - but it is so good you may have a bit of a wait - be patient, it's worth it for the great food! More

You will find no better chipper in Ireland than Jackie Lennox's on Bandon Road! The same staff are there with years, the food is cooked fresh and ready within minutes. Don't let the long queues put you off, it moves really fast and is definitely worth queuing up for! Legends. More

Jackie Lennox’s was as much part of my childhood as anything and it was always a treat if my dad decided to go in for a bag of chips (+ burger, potato pie etc …) I loved it! You couldn’t get better in Cork. In Ireland! But times have changed and while it remains a very good “Chipper” it does... More
