We stayed in the Gresham Metropole Hotel just opposite this restaurant in May 2012. We had not booked, but were given a table even though the place was buzzing on a Tuesday night. We went for the Early Bird menu and have to say that this was the best meal we experienced in a long time, even though we go... More

Myself and Two work collegues were in Cork last week at a conference and stayed accross the street in the Gresham Metropole Hotel. And this resturant was just a hop accross the street. The place is quite big (high roof) but none the less warm and welcoming and as as we advanced into our own meal the place filled up... More

A trip to Cork couldn't be considered complete without a trip to Isaac's. Here the menu offers something for everyone and the quality is consistently good. I am vegetarian and always enjoy something more than a token offering. It's really heartening to see this establishment doing as well as ever and it's heart warming to see some familiar faces staff-wise... More

Friday the 13th was lucky for us as we were able to get a table, unbooked at this marvellous restaurant. On MacCutain Street, opposite the Everyman theatre, could not be better positioned for access to and from the city center. We chose to have the "early bird menu" which is very good value. The service, excellent, presentation of the food... More

I have been to Isaacs for lunch on numerous occassions and for dinner after work. There is always a really nice buzz in the restaurant. The staff are extremely friendly and the service is excellent. The menu choice is great and the food delicious, I couldn't recommend it highly enough for consistently great food and service. More

The restaurant is set within a beautifully restored eighteenth century former warehouse. It has high ceilings which means the air is not stuffy. It also creates acoustic echoes which brings some life and excitement to the dining room. We were served by a pleasant young lady, ordered and were promptly brought our drinks. My starter was a crispy fried, breadcrumbed... More
