Great little place to dine and dogs are allowed in. Top marks from me and the food is excellent, there being a lot of it and sensible prices.

Visited here on a cold rainy night in Aviemore. Staff were polite and pleasant service was fast. Portion size was enormous and out of three of us only one managed to finish food. Would definitely visit again but perhaps for drinks only .

Ordered a meal which was good.while we waited on the meal I noticed how grubby the place was. There were a few people in and staff were friendly.

Good playground and v kid friendly. Upstairs bar still has the character I remember from 20 years ago and a good choice of beers. Fixtures and fittings very worn though and needing a refurb. Staff v helpful. Unfortunately food v average, which isn't good enough these days.

Strange place really - clubby bar downstairs and a pub with no atmosphere upstairs. Must confess I'm not a karaoke type and fled before the appointed hour. Staying in aviemore for the night and looking for somewhere to eat that was dog friendly. The Winking Owl food was fantastic. Recommend the hot shot burger!

We only drank here but did enjoy the general feel of the place. We were quite happy for 2-3 hours just supping our beers and chilling.
