Description: The Butchershop Bar and Grill is one of Glasgow's most fashionable dining and drinking spots. With its stunning backdrop – Glasgow University and Kelvingrove Art Gallery as its majestic neighbours – The Butchershop, based in the heart of the west end of the city, offers a very modern experience based on the good old fashioned steakhouse and cocktail bar concept. The contemporary interior of The Butchershop has a Manhattan-loft feel; all exposed brickwork and clean lines with old meeting the very new, creating the ideal setting in which to enjoy the rather fabulous signature cocktail list with favourites such as the Ratpack Manhattan and the Champagne Daisy, before settling in to the grill menu. Here the best 21-28 day- dry aged Scottish beef is served, butchered in-house by our chefs with a fabulous selection of equally good supporting acts including Loch Fyne oysters, fresh fish specials, braised lamb shanks and daily vegetarian options and much, much more...........

We recently had a family celebration here and it was a lovely evening. From the warm welcome upon arrival to our departure the service was outstanding. The waiters were knowledgeable and friendly without lingering too long. I had the filet and it was one of the best steaks I have had in the UK in a long time. The steak... More

Really friendly welcoming staff, and nice atmosphere. We all had the Roast Beef which was excellent value for money and extremely tasty. The only disappointing part of the meal was that we were all to full to attempt desert! Definitely have lunch here again More

Not the sort of place in which a vegetarian would normally aspire to dine, but I don't like eating alone and the rest of my party were salivating at the thought of finally visiting Butchershop Bar and Grill, and who was I to deny them, especially as I'd noticed they had a vegetarian option on the good value set menu.... I booked a table for the 'Sunday lunch' for seven people. This was confirmed by staff at the time of booking. On arrival at the restaurant we asked for the Sunday lunch menu only to be told that there was none left and that they had sold them all. I explained that this was actually a booking for seven people... More

Not too stuffy and food was superb. Well cooked steaks and pleasant staff. Service was a bit sparse at times, but they were pleasent when pressed. More
