Booked the Two Fat Ladies at he Buttery but walked past one of the other ones at Blytheswood and made an assumption it was the only 1! Walked up and sat down - to find no booking but informed this was not unusual and as they weren't busy we could stay (the 'right' 2FL was a few blocks away) Apparently... More

I visited with colleagues from work and ordered from the set menu (£16 for two courses). We were all very impressed by the quality of food and service and expect to return. I had Cullen skink and sea bass. Both were very well cooked and presented - and delicious.

I went back to the two Fat Ladies after a previous visit 3 years ago. The restaurant room is small, service is good, prices relatively high, but I was a bit disappointed by the meal, starting with the Cullen skink (not very tasty) , then the halibut (over cooked), to finish with the black cherries tart (impossible to identify the... My girlfriend and I dined here on Saturday 11th May. Restaurant is quite small and intimate, and the service is good, but the food was truly exceptional. Had scallops followed by salmon with ham hock spring roll. The real star of the show was the trio of creme brulee....wow!

Last minute booking for a family meal, this place is every bit as good as the Buttery. I had scallops on stornoway black pudding with corn puree - delicious, others had crab salad and a mackeral dish, all were very good. I had fillet steak medallions with peppercorn sauce on haggis with neeps and mash, fantastic. The others had duck,... More

We booked the two fat ladies and enjoyed the pre-theatre menu. The atmosphere is lovely and the food was great. The staff are friendly and attentive without being overpowering. Can't wait to take my husband to taste the delights of the sticky toffee pudding. We girls had a fantastic afternoon in Glasgow and can't wait to return.

We have looked through the windows so many times and always wanted to visit, ideal opportunity as we were at the Mal, just over the road, booked a week in advance and had a table for 8pm saturday evening. We shared the black pudding/scallops, gone in one mouthful, not worth the price. My husband chose chicken, tiny, and I opted... More

We came here two years ago and feared disappointment but found it if anything even better. It remains our favourite Glasgow restaurants for its ambience, its staff, and above all for its superb food.
