Amazing two days at the Peat Inn.faultless accommodation and service.enjoyed the complimentary brownies and sherry.both the a la carte and taster menu were heavenly with a good balance of tastes and eye catching innovations.would recommend for a romantic break or special occasion.

We were lucky enough to be given a gift of a night in the Camellia Suite and the six course taster menu. The accommodation was immaculate with many nice finishing touches: a varied tea tray, a range of CDs to listen to on the stereo system, a view over a small, well-manicured garden, magazines, wooden games and comfortable furnishings. The... More

I took my parents to the Peat Inn restaurant, as part of a mini-celebration. A pleasant drive, which would have taken us past the venue had we not been aware of what lay within! I'm not sure where to start or end with my review, so I shall keep this brief. The service was impeccable, and the food to die... More

We were lucky enough to be given a luxury break as a wedding gift. From the lovely lady who welcomed us and showed us to our suite to the excellent dinner everything was perfect, can't wait to return!

Just had another wonderful lunch here. The service this time not quite as amazing as usual but the food was as faultless as ever. Be back again soon hopefully!

We had a lovely meal at the peat inn. We choose the taster menu and they allowed us to change one dish because neither of us like oysters. The whole experience was fantastic and the staff were very friendly and knowledgable. My only slight complaint was the portion size - some if the courses especially the cheese was thimble sized.

Couldn't fault our evening at the Peat Inn. We had the tasting menu every course of which was excellent, but the blade of beef was particularly worthy of mention - better cooked than I have ever experienced. The young staff were attentive and made sure that everything was explained and that we were enjoying our evening. Highly recommended!

We have dined at the Peat Inn many times intermittently over nearly 40 years and under various chefs and have never been disappointed. This was our first opportunity to dine at the inn under its new chef-patron and, once again, we enjoyed it. We were staying at the residence so a short walk and no driving. The lounge decor has...
