We found this restaurant thanks to tripadvisor. Small restaurant but great atmosphere. The food was of great quality and the cook and service was excellent. Cook came to the table to ask if everything is ok. If you are in Edinburgh do a search for this restaurant and you will have a great evening.

Had a superb meal here tonight, the food was really good, we both had three courses which we can't fault. Really good value and would recommend and be back soon hopefully.

Not quite 5 stars yet, but pushing hard. Why not? Lots of interesting food choices, many with a French flavour, but just lacks the subtlety of a Michelin experience. This restaurant is a hidden gem. The food is delightful and the service top notch. Nothing is too much trouble including party planning. Very classy decor and warm. No outdoor seating I think but it was raining the night we were there. All the guests were real foodies so this rating is not given lightly!
