having read some of the reviews about this place and thought it,s sounds good,but we were disappointed after we tried it,service was ok but unfriendly and food was plagued with loads of grease and msg,quality is what you gets in some kind of cheap takeaways,but 5times as expensive.would give this place a 2out of 10...we never return again..

Popped in on Sunday tea time, without a reservation. thankful we got in, especially on a bank holiday weekend. some of our party arrived by taxi, and the taxi driver announced it to be the best chinese in town - i do agree!The staff are so friendly and helpful, excellent service. Top tip, taste the salt n chilli squid, delish!

I've had a number of meals in Karen's unicorn and the food is lovely. Every morsel delicious, freshly made and high on flavour. Highly recommeded.

Good, solid, reliable Chinese fare for Edinburgh. Superb starters in particular. The dry dish salty chilli chicken wings packed a punch, well crispy and succulent chicken all laced with strips of shredded spring onion and fresh chillies....great. Well, having read the reviews my expectation was high. However the food we had was basically just another Chinese-certainly nothing special. Service was good as were the premises and location. Unfortunately our clothes were extremely smelly from cooking smells,after the meal.
