Five of us stopped by today for a birthday lunch. I've described it as 'average' for a reason. Whilst generally OK on the service front, I had asked that my starter (no-one else was having one) was brought at the same time as everyone else's main course so they didn't have to watch me eat. They then brought my soup... More

We popped in for a light lunch and were really impressed with the variety of the menu and the 3 different sizes available (starter, main course and light bite before 5pm sections of the menu). We ordered the 5oz steak from the light bite menu and it was absolutely delicious. Followed off by the largest home cooked meringue that you've... More

Last week i visited the Railbridge Bistro and I highly enjoyed it. I had mussels to start which was delicious followed by the club sandwich which was also delicious. The restaurant itself is ver welcoming and the staff are very helpful and friedly. It is in a great location and it is a great place for a proper meal or... More

Myself and my parter dropped in to The Railbridge personally to book a table for an evening meal later the same day. We asked for a table upstairs by a window if possible. We were assured if upstairs was open, we would get an upstairs window seat. We arrived at our booked time and the same fella who took our... More

A roaring log fire and several sofas are the best seats in the place - together with hot chocolate and their Haggis, heaps and tattles. It may be poor outside but spend hours in here reading the papers for a relaxing time! More

We visited this Restaurant with Friends(Having been recommended). The Views over the River Forth on a beautiful day were spectacular (although 2 of ou party had their view obscured by a pillar) I would state that the view was the only good thing about this restaurant. The Starters were mediocre, The Mains were Bland and the Puddings were the same. This... More

Main reason to eat here are the Views as it is very near to the rail bridge and there's something lovely about watching trains cross the Forth and marvelling at the bridge structure..Food was ok, but pricey. I think the prices go up in the area the nearer you get to the bridge! However the portion size was good and... More

I stopped here for a late lunch while touring South Queensferry. This restaurant is located near the Rail Bridge that spans the Firth of Forth. The restaurant was busy and there was a lovely fire to add warmth. I ordered the Goat Cheese Parcel from the Bistro menu with a cup of tea. My bill came to 7.25 £ .... More

My goodness. We went for breakfast to this place and as we walked in the manager walked past us, didn't say good morning and seriously looked like he needed his coffee. The staff were not much better. What is wrong with these people? Isn't it nice to say good morning to your customers - specially when your place is empty... More

We called into the Railbridge Bistro in South Queensferry this afternoon for lunch, what a find, not sure how long this has been opened but it our first visit but certainly will not be our last. Very comfortable eating areas and fantastic views of the Forth Bridges. The food was superb and very reasonably priced. There is also a log... More
