Wonderfully presented ,delicious food in a cosy setting . Staff were very attentive. We had spent the day watching Veterans tournament at Melrose 7s great way to end the day!

Thought the food was really good, well cooked and superbly presented. We went with friends who live in the area and they thought it was the best venue - now we understand why they might think that. It was a lovely meal.

Set in the ancient Market Square at Melrose, with ample car parking in the hotel grounds this hotel is an excellent base to explore the Scottish Borders. Food is excellent and the accommodation is very good. The staff are helpful and will go out of their way to assist residents.

Everything on the menu is good, some great and one or two dishes excellent. Venison casserole is superb, wash it down with a pint of Game Bird, the outstanding locally brewed ale. Nicks picks from the wine list are never a disappointment.
