It's in a middle of Glencore and their surrounding is beautiful. This Bar is just one of ordinary bars, nothing special. Food is good. More

This venue has recently re-opened and is better than before. The staff are attentive, especially so for my two and a half year olf granddaughter, but really for all five of us, who all found something to suit. There are good menu choices, including for vegetarians, and although the meals are a bit "pubby" they are well prepared and the... More

Hello and thank you for your lovely review. I will admit that the place does look a bit 'posh' to be serving simple home-cooked pub grub but you \(and we) have hit the nail on the head when you comment on our 'pubby' food. We are steering well away from the previous owner's misconceptions that the posh interior and amazing... More

What a great disappointment. Beautiful setting but there are other places to stop along that stunning coastlline. I live 30 mins away and have used this place previously on many occasions. I also recommend all my self catering visitors to stop there. However after a poor meal for 2 I will no longer recommend to others or use myself. Overdone... More

It's so funny that the same (local business?) reviewer and his / her friends mention the word 'disappointing' in almost every negative review we have and coincidentally EVERY time lots of good reviews are posted! Go get on with running your own business properly and you won't have time to criticise ours! We don't promise ANYTHING so how can we... More

A very pleasant place to sit and enjoy the view and the friendly staff. But the food was a bit disappointing and expensive. Small portion, and dry salmon. More

Hello and thank you for your review. I'm glad you enjoyed the incredible loch-side views and friendly staff, however I am sorry you didn't like the salmon particularly as our portions are usually very generous and I feel disappointed that you didn't let us know at the time that you were not pleased. We ask all customers (it is printed... More

We recently visited the Creagan Inn and we certainly were not disappointed. Food and service is first class. A huge bonus is that they have a beautiful outside seating area with amazing views across the Loch. We will certainly be back in the not too distant future to sample more of your delicious food. ( This Inn is on the... More

We came to the Creagan Inn for dinner and were disappointed. We visited a few years ago and understand that it is now under new management. We spent £50 and had a starter and main course each plus drinks - beautiful views over the water and stunning weather. The staff were pleasant. I had the Cullen Skink which was great... More

Hello and thanks for your comments but did you actually visit? Our mussels are the best quality local Seil Island Mussels steamed in white wine with fresh garlic and finished off with cream - as described on the menu. Should something have been 'terrible' then I'm sure you would not have eaten them and if that were the case then... More

Hello and thank you for your lovely comments! Brodie (pub dug) was delighted to meet a wee Westie girlfriend and didn't even do his usual wee 'it's my pub' grumbles for a change! SO glad you liked everything and the weather has certainly been very kind for the last few weeks so the views are just great. Very glad that... More

We have been twice this week, once for dinner and once for lunch. Fresh seafood and juicy steaks washed down with beer and wine, what more could you ask for? They had an 'open mic' night with locals playing/singing. Great evening. Fish and chips on the decking for lunch in the sun was great. More

We had a late lunch here while staying at the fabulous ecopods up the road. The food was fresh and tasty. Most dishes are very reasonably priced. I had the scallops and black pudding, which was pricey at £18:50, but really very good and worth it I felt. The thing that makes this place worth a visit is the view-simply... More

Thanks for your lovely comments. I'm glad you enjoyed the scallops & black pudding with wholegrain mustard sauce but hasten to add that we only serve it as a starter so it would have been £8.50 athough written on the blackboard perhaps it looked like £18.50. Our (unbelievably expensive) new touchscreen till means that mistakes can't be made with the... More
