I have now eaten here a number of times for business lunches and evening dinners over the last two years. The food is exquisite with local produce used extensively by a very talented chef. Waiting staff are incredibly attentive and service is prompt and efficient. The menu regularly changes and it's limited size testimony to the freshly prepared nature of... More

my daughter had her wedding reception on 18/12/11. The reception was second to none. from the welcome in the cocktail lounge to the wedding dinner was all exceptional, there was a huge christmas tree on top of the stairs that was just beautiful and perfect to catch a perfect photograph, we as a family would highly recommend the park house... Situated in a William Burges inspired building in the city centre. I like this place as whilst the menu is not extensive it does mean that what is presented is done well with good use of local produce. My scallops were delicious and I was envious of my friends Buttermilk Ice-cream with Honeycomb. An interesting wine list with some new... More

Sorry to disagree with everyone, but we've never left a restaurant table feeling hungry before we came to eat at this one.Talk about minimal; We had 2 mushrooms on a spoon, bara brith(small slice) and a small square of liver patte(starter), a slither of fish (main), 3 olives, half a beetroot, a tube of ice with a spoon that got stuck... its not quite there in terms of the michelin star, and the evening service is vastly superior to the lunchtime service, but the food itself is really good, and you can see that if they just make a few improvements, they will be serious contenders for a star. this place is much better than similarly priced Bully's, and has nice... I have never ever written a review for a restaurant before, however, I feel compelled to highlight the terribly disappointing experience we had last week. We arrived at 7.15 pm on a Friday evening for a pre-dinner drink in the Vanilla Rooms but, upon arrival, we were told that it was closed for a cocktail masterclass. No mention of this... More

Anniversary dinner in town on a cool October evening. Staff were really professional and I felt special eating there. The food was very well cooked. They could use real butter as opposed to margarine alongside the bread starter but I guess its a healthier option. Though a small menu selection, it caters for Evert pallete. I adored my scallop starter... More
