The food was very high quality. Prices seemed a little high. If your above question is "Is this one of the best meals you've ever had in a European restaurant?" then I can say "Yes". The reason I hesitate to put it in the top bracket generally is that I have had the good fortune to eat in some of... More

We paid £70 each for a 7-course taster menu at a "Bollinger Family Dinner" event. This included two glasses of Bolly, three still wines and three ports to go with cheese. The quality of the food was outstanding. Best were a foie gras macaroon, some caramelised pork and a duck bon-bon. I also liked the bitty quince jam that came... More

attended a wedding there, the reception was a high tea which was very nice, except for the the staff who when asked for a second cup of tea, said that only one cup per person had been paid for and that they would have to charge for it, I found this rather mean as a tea bag and some boiling... More

We had the taster menu with matching wines- great food with excellent wine pairings. When asked if we wanted the cheese as an optional course we said yes as we all love cheese- a bit of a mistake as this turned out to be quite expensive at £16 each for the cheese and a small glass of port. As I... More

This is the second time we have dined at Park House Club and it was even better than the first!!! We went for the tasting menu with matched wines, having previously dined from the a la cart menu. The food variety and accompanying wines were fantastic and a great way to showcase both the talents of the chefs and variety... More

Started with impressive cocktails, quite unusual to see in Cardiff, but really refreshing to see! I had a gimlet. The food was delicious! We had the taster menu, I particularly enjoyed the John Dory dish! We had the very well matched wines to go alongside each course. After the food we went downstairs to the cocktail bar and what a... Found this place quite by chance when eating at another restaurant near by. The whole experience is very professionally delivered from start to finish. The dress code may be a little off putting for some however on clarifying it simply means no sports kit, shorts etc. It is a gothic revival style build and the interior is very well decorated...
