Amazing, 14 of us went for my birthday and no one had a single negative thing to say. It was already my favourite Resturant in cardiff (I'm lucky enough to eat out alot) but they really made my birthday special with there truly incredible food. More

Casanova offered us traditional Italian cuisine with excellent service in an intimate setting. Despite being on the doorstep of the Millennium stadium the restaurant felt secluded and personal. My Italian meats and cheese selection served on a slate slab was an excellent start to a meal which continued to please through to dessert. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant. More

The place is very nice, not easy to find though! Owner is very welcoming. Food is very nice, but portions are a bit small. It's a nice experience to visit this restaurant. More

I went to Casanova - again - on 26th April for lunch with a friend. As regulars we were welcomed with a refreshing glass of Prosecco. The short but ever changing menu always has some interesting dishes and I started with marinated mackerel with a onion confit - that was superb. I then had a couple of Italian sausages on a... More

We rang this restaurant on Thursday, late notice I know, to book a table for Friday for 2. The only time they had was for 9pm, which we booked. Friends of ours then also wanted to come, and I phoned them on Friday evening to ask if they could squeeze 2 more in. They said they would do their best,... More

I went here on a first date and I have to say, it couldn't have gone better. The service was attentive, but discreet, the food was fabulous and it wasn't that expensive. £60 for two of us and we had everything we could've wanted. I'd recommend it. More

We often go to Casanova for lunch when we are out in Cardiff shopping, but have also been for dinner a few times. My mother is Italian and I often find Italian restaurants in the uk to be very disappointing - catering to what they think british people want instead of staying authentic. The food at Casanova is a fantastic... More
