I am a frequent visitor to the Bokhara and have to say the food has exceeded my expectations every time. All their produce is locally sourced and the restaurant has a vibrant atmosphere with great service from the staff. Those looking for great authentic Indian food look no further! This in my opinion is the best curry experience you will... More

Fantastic restaurant worth the drive, alternatively stay at the neighbouring hotel at Colemen Court. Interesting menu, Top notch Indian food.

Locally sourced products in an extensive Indian Menu, backed up by more traditional dishes. Sunday evening Buffet had good variety of Indian dishes, all very tasty, and provided good value for money.

We went here on a Groupon voucher and to say we were underwhelmed would be an overstatement. The food was ok, but we expected something exceptional, due to its accolades. We didn't pay a lot for the voucher so all in all it was good value but we wouldnt go back.

This was my first visit to the brasserie. Food was a world away from your regular 'curry houses' in both quality and service. Fabulously unusual food with friendly and very helpful chefs, of which there are four. Miss it at your peril - you won't get better!!

I stayed at Court Colman Manor for a long weekend and for ate in the restaurant for one night. The menu was unusual for an Indian restaurant and included many dishes that I had eaten on my trips to India. None of the dishes I had were as spicy as the ones in India but that suited my taste. Unfortunately,... More

I went to the Bokhara for a family meal (5 of us) on a pleasant Saturday night following some positive reviews from friends. I've enjoyed many good Indian restaurants and so, seeing to high rating on TripAdvisor, I had high hopes of a special evening. Overall the experience was decent enough without ever being spectacular. Service was surprisingly slow to... More

This was my first visit to this brasserie...it came highly recommended and did not disappoint ..though Indian cuisine in origin I have to say the food was lovely ..very tasty rather than hot curries you expect from a takeaway ..the service was friendly and helpful ..we shall definitely be returning.

We went here just 2 days after a new menu had been started, so I expect things are different now. The décor is bright and cheerfu,l the many different"Tiffany style" lampshades setting the colour scheme. The open kitchen is a nice diner touch. The house red wine was very good. The huge bib type napkins complete with neck tie strings... More

The food in this restaurant was excellent. We both love Indian food and were not let down by either of the two courses we enjoyed. You can see your food being cooked, which was novel and for a Thursday evening the restaurant was busy, which says it all. The staff were very friendly. Even the owner popped in to help... More
