My wife and I have been eating at Le Raj for about 18-months now, initially just the Sunday Lunch Buffet, but since we returned to live in Porthcawl some 5-months ago we have eaten occasionally in the evening. One of the good signs of any establishment where customer service is important is stability of staff and at Le Raj you... More

Yet again went with friends excellent meal. The salmon would cover two meals so part went home as a takeaway . The chicken Kufti as my starter I love . The service was good and the cobra beers chilled perfectly. The restaurant manger was very chatty and very welcoming. Will be back for sure

When I first walked into le raj I was amazed by the beautiful authentic decoration.. Was nice to go to a curry house with a bit of style. Was seated in a nice section with comfy chairs and well spaced away from other tables. The starter was lovely and very fresh I had samosa and my boyfriend had chicken tikka... More

Used to go to the Le Raj regularly but wil never go again we waited over an hour to order and they weren't that busy out drinks took forty five minutes to arrive, we were told to move tables before we had got a chance to order our food! No one brought us a menu, the food was oily and... More

We dined at Le Raj for my husband's birthday. He is easy to please and enjoyed his meal more than I did. It was the strangest and least nice of any prawn cocktail I have ever had. The chicken madras was okay, but I've had better. Contrary to some other people's reviews we thought the service very slow. We were... More

Very smart and confortable restaurant with an excellent menu. Staff are very friendly and service is excellent. A nice little touch is that there is a comfortable drinking area where you can wait for your table to be ready.

Nice varied menu with all the usual Indian favourites and a few extra ones. Some dishes less spicy than we like, but good portions, good service and the restaurant has nice decor with some interesting 3D artwork. Seems popular with the locals too.

I have recently renewed my aquaintance with Le Raj, and was not disappointed. the food and service are brilliant. it was a special occasion, so we wanted something out of the ordinary, and that's exactly what we got. My wife is part Indian so we know Indian food very well. The grandson loved the little ornaments scattered around the restaurant.... More
