I visit The Orchard Cafe at least once a week after walking my dog, and have gone through more loyalty cards than you can shake a stick at. The food is always delicious and locally sourced and the drinks are generous and piping hot. It does get busy with County Hall staff at lunchtime so I tend to go earlier... More

Met up with some friends for Sunday lunch. Walked our dog around the two easy designated trails of countryside and woodland. Had lunch afterwards in the Cafe. The food was superb, very reasonably priced, hot, fresh and locally sourced. Couldn't fault the service or surroundings. This cafe has great local food options. It is located in a country park with good parking (free) right outside, walks in a little wood next door (Nunnery Woods) and a really good children's playground outside. The playground has been recently extended with equipment for older kids (8+) so works for a wide range of families for food and activity.... More
