Little Saigon offers a great choice of Vietnamese dishes with fresh ingredients! One of my fav restaurants ever, it's worthy a visit especially at lunchtime with the set menus.

Ordered vegetarian spring rolls and tofu soup to start only to find that the spring rolls were pork and not vegetarian and that the soup was made with meat stock (cofirmed by my chef boyfriend). Complained about spring rolls and were brought veggie. Could not be bothered to try and explain the soup problem. Waiter then tried to clear starters... More

This used to be one of my favourite places to eat in Newcastle. The food was really tasty and authentic, the atmosphere was relaxed and it was very reasonably priced. Last night was disappointing in comparison. I went with a group of 3 friends, all of us had been there before. We were looking forward to their unusual, yummy prawn... More

We hadn't visited for several months but it seemed a good ideal to stay in Newcastle after the NUFC football match against Liverpool.I was in a great mood because I support Liverpool but my husband was disappointed with the result [0-6].However,we weren't disappointed with the meal or service. We had booked our favourite table in the window so we could watch... We used to love Little Saigon and believe it is the best Vietnamese restaurant in the North East. However, we were very disappointed last time we visited in February 2013. Food didn't taste the same anymore. The starter spring rolls were bad. The main course five spices pork and chicken were bad, definitely not grilled as they used to be.... More

Situated in the Bigg Market, we booked a table for 10 on a Friday night. We were surprised to be the only customers and could not fault the service or the quality of food. We had been told that the credit card machine was not working and that we would have to pay cash, but in the event the machine... More

Ok but prefer Chinese. Don't appreciate being telephoned and asked to pay cash on the day of our booking!

I have often passed this place in the Bigg market, and last night sat 23th March decided to pop in, picked the set menu for 2 at £18.50 each plus a bottle of wine, we were the first in and sat in the window at 5:00pm food came quickly 3 starters and rice on one plate which was actually quite...
