We recently visited The Waterfront Café for Lunch and can recommend it without any hesitation. The Café itself has great character with wonderful views out to the Estuary, and the Staff were marvellous, so helpful and friendly we could not have had better service. All four of us were so impressed by the absolutely delicious Lunch we had on our... More

This is a small and busy restaurant with a wonderful location. Book, or arrive early. There is a relaxed bustle about the place which we enjoyed. The staff were friendly and professional and coped well with surges in demand which put us at ease. The food was excellent - I had a delicious crab salad; mum and my partner had... More

Front of house service was good but the food took a long while to appear. My wife could not cut her bruschetta starter and I could only break it apart with the point of my knife,it was so hard. I had skate as a main course and it was, pound for pound, the most expensive fish I have ever eaten anywhere... More

Dear Gingermills Thank you for taking time to review The Waterfront Cafe Woodbridge and so sorry you did not enjoy the experience this time. I have checked with the Team and have detailed knowledge of the day from them. All bruchettas are cooked to order, the bread used is an Organic Focacia made for us by one of Raymond Blancs... More

I haven't had such tasty crab for ages. A whole cooked crab came with mayo, granary bread and green salad. Perfect, not cheap but I guess you get what you pay for. More

I researched 'trip advisor' & located this restaurant for a special family meal. The reviews suggested that this was a good restraurant with a good choice of food. It was awful, the food selection for children is poor, the food quality disappointing and the fresh orange juice had exceeded the 'sell by date' and had mold in it. I would... More

We visit this restaurant regularly - the food is excellent and the service is friendly. They always happily accommodate my disabled husband with a cup of tea while I go for a walk along the river. It is well positioned for the view of the Deben river. The restaurant is small but does not feel crowded. Best to book in... More

What a find! Have been meaning to visit this cafe for years...it was certainly worth the wait! A great location on the quay. The cafe looks very welcoming from the outside, and is stylishly simple on the inside. The staff were very welcoming and attentive, but best of all was the food. We had stunning giant prawns with mayonnaise and... More

This is our favourite restaurant and we visit at least once a month. It is in a peerless position, pleasantly quiet even when full, and the modest menu is always first class. The standards never drop and the service is efficient and friendly. Caroline G More

My family and I were on our holiday and had decided to visit Woodbridge. Whilst walking rounds the town we came across a tiny deli with delicious looking produce. They told us about their cafe near Tide Mill so as we had parked the cars nearby we decided to give it a try and boy our we glad we did.... More
