We turned up to eat not having booked. The food was good and genourous portions. Beer was good.
Just outside historic Lavenham this pub can be neglected but if you want good home cooking at reasonable prices this is worth a visit. Sunday lunch at only £7.95 is one of the best in the area, but you must book by Friday. Pub can be very quiet but this is a problem many rural village pubs suffer from. Small...
