Invited by some friends to eat at The Richmond on their first day they re-opened for food. The Chef has done a great job with the menu as it seems almost everything was sourced locally. I will be returning very soon! If you have not yet been then it is a must for the price!

A really nice pub to find- wonderful in the South facing garden on a sunny afternoon. However this really is on the outskirts of Bath, but definitely worth a visit- short drive from the centre but a long uphill walk.
Good food served

Slightly off the beaten track, essentially a house converted to a pub, The Richmond Arms is rapidly gaining a reputation for its excellent food. I don't normally have much time for your gastro type pub but the Richmond retains enough of the character of a pub to make it work. The staff are always very friendly and know what they're...

After the recent refurbishments, the Richmond has really come into its own. The décor is quaint and inviting to locals and visitors alike. We would have liked to have sat out in the garden at the front, but unfortunately it was a little chilly.
The staff were polite, and friendly. When I enquired about the food, I heard words that...

I must go to the Richmond several times a month; the food is fantastic and with monthly changing menus it never gets old, a great wine list just adds to the whole experience.
The service is spot on; not too attentive but certainly not lacking.
Ever since The Richmond opened under new management it has gone from strength to strength...

Since it's relatively recent facelift and change of ownership, the Richmond seems capable of a lot of things. The decor is very stylish - more like a living room of a typical Bath house where the lady of the house has time to shop and the money to support the habit. The menu is also very good and, I have...
