Went there for a meal, last minute having messed up a booking somewhere else. Not knowing what to expect, I was pleasantly suprised. Authentic food and wine, lovely location in an old cellar, excellent all round. Can't be faulted.

Fab tappas, great wine. Haven't been since it was La Flamenca when we were always scared of ending up in the desperately uninviting restaurant. But total change - restaurant fab, food great, ambience lovely and staff equally so. Estaremos de vuelta. :)
From the moment you walk down the steps into he entrance you just know its going to be good.
Excellent service, fantastic ambience, and the food? OMG. If you like tapas you will, love this place.
Anyone who says the food is limited or no good is basically mad.

La Perla is a true pearl of Bath fabulous in every way - my taste buds are still jumping. Staff smiley and attentive, food amazing service great. Recommend booking - we were lucky enough to get a no-show table. The Gods of Luck were shining on us. :-)
I love Spanish food, like really love it and this was my 2nd visit to La Perla. I'd rate it as the best restaurant in Bath. The only one I'm yet to go to is Menu Gordon Jones, but other than that it beasts everything hands down. The Paella we had last night was fantastic as were all the tapas....

We went to La Perla on Saturday 20th - a very busy night due to Bath playing Leicester Tigers - and were surprised how empty the restaurant was. The menu was very limited and I had to return one of the tapa as it was inedible. The calamares were only just cooked. We won't return to this restaurant.
Absolutely brilliant! I don't come back to Bath often but have taken my mother here twice now The food is absolutely fantastic and the service is really good The staff make you feel really welcome - we will go again next time in Bath It sealed an excellent day with Bath beating Leicester at rugby!
Hi went with a group of 9 friends to this subterranean tapas restaurant and had a super evening. Acoustics are a bit wierd in the barrel ceilinged vault that runs under North Parade. Sometimes it seems you can hear someone a the other end of the restaurant clearer than people at your own table. we sampled a wide range of...

A hidden vault restaurant in Bath, new. Worth a visit for lunch or late dinner. We were there for lunch. A little quite but can imagine evening would be much more interesting affairs.. Great service.
