Had a great meal in this restaurant. The portions seem very generous so if you don't have a huge appetite do what we did and have a liquid starter and desert. It's a shame I don't live near Oxford as otherwise I would be a very regular visitor to Moya.

The Moya experience was totally satisfying. It was such a surprise to have a good evening, as the outside looking of the place does not look really promising. Also, the decoration and atmosphere is very "neutral". However, staff was very welcoming and friendly at all times. Additionally, the cocktails on offer (we tried different Martini cocktails) were of high quality... More

Wouldnt normally have thought to go for Eastern European food when going out to a restaurant, but this was really excellent. The staff were busy but attentive and gave great advice on the food. Lovely cocktails too. If you fancy it, it is definitely worth booking as it is not very big and was very busy when we were there.... More

Just had a really nice evening here with relatives. This is technically a Slovak restaurant, but more of the modern trendy club style than the traditional heavy food. The dumplings are light, the goulashes not stodgy and the vegetables not boiled too much. If you are looking for traditional Slovak, well, it is in the style but updated. Starting from... More

Delicious meal at Moya. Dishes sound heavy but aren't and its all beautifully presented and not over-priced. Plenty of vegetarian choice. With the bonus of amazing cocktails. I wish they were open lunchtimes too!

Went to Moya on 6 April 2013 as a 'birthday treat' and what a treat it was. Just as well we booked for the Saturday night as all tables were reserved and most already taken by the time we arrived at 7pm which made for a happy and busy atmosphere. The tables are not too crowded together and the tasteful... More

This is when Tripadvisor comes into its own. Wanted to find somewhere close by on Friday night that we hadn't been before. Decided on Moya in the end based on the reviews. Proved a great choice, They were busy but service was attentive from everyone and the food and drinks well priced and perfectly cooked. Thank you Moya and thank... More

Our first visit to Moya and hopefully not our last. Great from start (try the Mojitos) to finish. I had the Kapustnica (soup) starter, Grilled Smoked Sausage for my main course and Bublanina (Bubble Cake) for dessert. Others in our party had Devil's Toast, Prawns in Batter, Confit of Duck, Pork Shank, Lamb Shank and Salmon Supreme...all great choices. Service... More

From start to finish the whole experience was excellent, the service was spot on, friendly and efficient, maybe the wait between courses was a ltlle bit longer than expected, but each course was worth the wait, the food was vey well presented and tasted fantastic. We had never eaten Slovak food before, so it was a new experience but one... More
