Went for my wife's birthday , had previously been with friends on a Saturday night and it wasn't up to previous standards (they had run out of mustard !!) anyway decided to give it another chance . Restaurant was very busy but we were sat at a nice table near the window. Starters were served promptly and removed when we... More

Beautiful decor, nice setting..unfortunately they bought the wrong starter for my friend...we all had steak for our main course...cooked well but luke warm and potatoes still hard...staff not very apologetic...we ordered a second bottle of wine which they brought to our table after we had finished our meal...won't be rushing back More

We booked the day before , five if us from 11-45, some of our party enjoyed the early bird menu which still has ample choices, and half selected the extensive menu. The food is some of the best I've tasted, absolutely delicious. The service is first class , more than efficient. The establishment is a credit to the staff and... More

Our second visit to this great restaurant ... Last time it was nearly a hurricane out side ... This time it rained so much I thought I might need an ark. But that's where the bad stuff stops ... Phoning to book good ... Welcome friendly ... Food great ... Service efficient ... In short we love it and will... More

Wen't to Tom Brown's for first time last Saturday lunch time. It's in a really nice area which I'm sure would be lovely to sit outside in the summer. The restaurant itself is attractive inside, modern and clean looking. The menu is good with plenty of choice. The early bird options are quite reasonable, being about £18 for 3 courses.... More

favourite restaurant in Nottingham - in my opinion better than Harts and World Service. Good food, reasonable prices and good unobtrusive service. Had the lamb and it was cooked perfectly - a good vet could have brought it back to life. Only criticism is that there wasn't enough chocolate on the menu for my wife More

About time I wrote a review... we had our wedding here last October and Tom Brown's did brilliantly to help us make this the best day of our lives. They were extremely accomodating in what we wanted from the day and put on a excellent service to all our guests (of which we had well over a hundred for the... More

We've been a few times to Tom Brown's and usually had a good time. They've redone the décor, very contemporary with light grey paint and upholstery. (Makes a change from those brown faux leather chairs). Excellent attentive service, we ate from the early bird menu at £17.95 for 3 courses. It's a shame there are so many extra cost addons... More
