We called into the Staunton Arms for a drink and ended up having a snack. Very hospitable landlady. The place has a really warm atmosphere. We shall be back for a full meal.

The Staunton Arms is one if our favourite country pubs at the moment. We ate for the first time this evening and were not disappointed. Service is friendly and good and the food is definitely better than an average gastro pub food. Good value for that and it's absolutely worth a drive out there. Will definitely eat there again.

Really strange seeing so many good reviews here, we had a very different experience I'm afraid. For starters I had black pudding fritters which were tasteless, had to peel off the batter to get some flavour.
