Hidden away from the hustle & bustle of Hexham, this is a little gem of a café! The outdoor seating is also brilliant in the sunshine and the interior is cosy and quirky. Staff are lovely, quick service and no complaints about the food or drinks! I'm looking forwards to popping in one evening for some Mediterranean food.

Ate here without a booking, sat night, what a treat, lovley food - big starters, excellent Hummus and salads, fantastic slow cooked lamb main and a good bean main for the veggie - only issue too full for dessert ! Will have to go back. Not at all expensive either, much better than our hotel the night before.

A great little cafe specialising in Greek food. Both the coffees and cakes, and the meals are lovely. All the staff are extremely friendly and I would recommend to anybody.

We ate here on a Friday night in March and had booked ahead thinking it might be busy. This turned out not to have been necessary as there were only two other tables taken when we arrived and nobody else turned up during our meal. It's quite a quaint little place although didn't really transport me back to my Greek... More

delightful little restaurant which serves greek food! My friend was staying over so we went to pics just around the corner and went to supper here. I had stuffed peppers which was delicious and my friend had moussaka(think stifado also on menu) then had a very sweet tradition dessert with a glass of wine each! think dessert was called baclava!... Like a Home from Home. We,ve been going for years. Lovely food. Lovely people. Try it. You will not regret it. Hexham is worth a visit or two in it,s own right, but John and Rosa are the icing on the cake. No pun intended. Allan & Jude Henderson. Norfolk.

We stopped off for a coffee and scone while visiting Hexham for the day. We were suitably impressed with both as well as the service and surroundings. We will return on our next visit to Hexham.

We ate lunch in Bunters. The food was freshly prepared, hot and plentyful. A really enjoyable experience.

I visited Bunters in the day and Athena in the evening. Bunters is vey good value and very good service, and a sun trap as we were very lucky with the weather! In the evening the cafe is a Greek restaurant, the food was amazing and the service friendly and very attentitive! You also over look some lovely old buildings... More

Amazing experience which reminded me of... home! High-standard original Greek food!... fantastic experience for anyone who would love to "travel" by trying a variety of tasteful Mediterranean recipes. Also, it is ideal for Greeks, like me, students or families who would like to taste our traditional delightful dishes and various local drinks such as OUZO. The combination of nice Greek... More
