This was my perfect lunch place! Convenient, fresh food, the best soup and spring rolls. The atmosphere was lively, prices decent, worth visiting on more occasions. The waiters were ok as well! ....................?.

I have been here so many times, loves a lot. I have referred to my friends, Some reason they are not happy with it. But I was never able to find any fault with the food or service. Worth trying the Restaurant. They have very good standards with the material they use in food, my tummy never complained. I do... More

The service was good, the meal was quick and the food excellent. one of the best chana masala i have eaten. With so many choices in Tooting for Sri Lankan food this is a must.

Unlike many Curry houses, each dish was distinctly different with interesting flavours. Only downside was a rather indifferent welcome and white wine served too warm... Lamb also just a bit too chewy! Will go again though...

Banana Leaf is the best Croydon has to offer in terms of Indian food. Its authentic, tasty, fresh and served with a smile, this place needs some love from Croydon residents as its tucked away - but well worth a visit. Look beyond the tacky shop front and drab decor... when you get your food you will be happy. Try... More

The food is good but it can vary bit, maybe there is more than one chef. It's a bit off putting that the staff stare at you quite a bit as you are eating. It is relatively expensive for a Croydon South indian restaurant but it could be argued that it is worth it as the food is quite tasty.

No way to fault this place. It has a special place in our heart. The food is absolutely outstanding and it is not just us who think so. The walls are literally covered with food awards and certificates. If you have not already - try it!

From the outside The Banana Leaf looks like just another Chicken Tikka Masala special. Nothing could be further from the truth. Then you walk in and see all the awards this restaurant has won proudly displayed around the walls! Plenty of unusual dishes as well as the usual staples of Korma and Tandoori. A tray of Garland Bhaji - vegetables... More
