Good simple food well cooked and fairly priced for London. The big let down was poor service and the length of time it took to arrive.Having sat down at the table just before 8.00pm the starters arrived at 8.30 which was fine as we were a group of 6 and time passes quickly. The main course did not arrive until 9.45.... I went for dinner here on a Friday evening at 7.30 and it was, as expected, very busy. I don't really have much to say because nothing really stood out as being especially impressive. The food was good, not too expensive and the service was pretty standard. It isn't in a special part of London either, a bit out of... More

I came across this restaurant purely by chance and was really pleased I had. The restaurant wasn't overly busy (it was a monday night) but still had a steady stream of customers. The menu was comprised of a good selection of seasonal produce and comprised of some surprise tasty combinations (the strawberry, elderflower and hazlenut crumble was delicious!). There was... More

What can I say but perfect meal, perfect atmosphere and perfect service. I took my wife as a treat as part of her birthday celebrations prior to flying to Rome and am so glad we chose LG. The food was stunning, would recommend and will definitely be going again the next time in London. More

Had a first time outing to the laughing gravy this weekend for dinner with friends. The first thing that struck me was the warmth and friendliness of the welcome. The cozy bar area was wonderful and a great place for a pre-meal drinky and and chat with the lovely staff while I Waited for my perennially late mate. I had... More

Excellent lunch - corn fed chicken was excellent; burgers very good and great 'plating up' on a chopping block; steak also very good. I went with a group of 5 and all very satisfied. Good wine list. Even coffee - espresso - excellect. Will be back!! Only minus - a little noisy! But I would not let that stop me... More
