Description: Carefully hidden away in the basement of the London Guards Hotel in Bayswater, this down-to-earth dining institution is loved by Russian ex-pats and vodka lovers alike. The red and white dining room at Erebuni has oodles of authentic Ruski charm, and the restaurant hosts live music on weekends, and Russian and English karaoke during the week which attracts a gregarious crowd. Perfect for parties and fun nights out with friends, Erebuni has a robust Russian and Armenian menu with hearty home-style dishes such as herring and fish soup, beef Strogonov and rabbit fillet with mushroom sauce, and vodka is sold by the bottle.

Went to Erebuni with a boyfriend, even though the food was nice, the place looked shabby and not very presentable. Food tastes like home cooking, but the decor could be improved. Have been to a few Russian Restaurants in London before, the food here is better than in most of them, but Borshch'n'Tears gets my vote any time! The verdict:... More

Really was an outstanding place to go. Service was just superb and the food was brilliant. The peppered vodka was delicious. Thanks for a great evening and for looking after us, especially when I got the date wrong! Will be back! More

We ate here twice on our ten-day stay at a hotel around the corner. The menu (which leans slightly toward Armenian food) is extensive and authentic, and the restaurant is filled with Russians.
