Description: Opening in 1982, Bombay Brasserie was in the vanguard of modern Indian cuisine, with an inventive approach that married classic regional cooking with a European brasserie-style menu. I used to come here in the late 1980's and early 1990's for their buffet lunch which was always enjoyable. I read a recent glowing review and decided to try it on a Monday evening. Service was very good and the decor is sumptuous and very comfortable. I was recommended the spinach starter which was very good indeed, the poppadoms... More

We stayed in London 7 nights and ate at the Bombay brasserie 3 nights. Service was fabulous, and they even served our favourite dishes that were not on the menu. A must for lovers of Indian food

I heard good things about this restaurant and it was very near a great hotel I was staying in so I gave it a try. Wonderful! I had Chicken Makhani one night, and an assortment of grilled meats another evening. Both meals were deliscious. The services was great. It is a bit on the pricey side, but has a lovely,... More

We went there for buffet lunch to celebrate a family birthday and all the members loved the experience - food was exquisite, service was outstanding and the ambience was pleasant. I would certainly recommend going there for special occasions and I assure you will not be disappointed.

Service was excellent. Pleasant ambience with tables well spaced and uncrowded. Wine list, not overly extensive but offering good varietal and regional choice. A good menu, had difficulty in choosing; too many good dishes on offer. Overall, it was a good experience and we would return.

Visited for a late night meal after the theatre. The food was quite cold, the portion sizes very small and the "fluffy" basmati rice was dried up and even a bit crispy. Prices were high too - we paid over £80 for two main courses and a couple of drinks and were still hungry ....... Had to visit the nearby... More

We booked a table for 12 in the main restaurant but due a serious car accident on the day, 4 guests did not make it. Unfortunately this caused a great deal of bad feeling from the management who proceeded to try and give me a telling off in front of the whole lounge and intimated that I would be "fined"for... More
