Great food like other reviewers have said, but also a bit of local London, which is unusual for is location in the heart of SW1. Go there in the morning for breakfast and you will see burly coppers vying for space with tradesmen, as well as a range of local sorts. The lady allying out the orders does so with... More

We live close by, and it's a great place for good quality, reasonably priced food. An eclectic mix of people, and a nice atmosphere. The guy that runs it, is friendly, and the set up is fast and efficient.

Came here for breakfast early in the morning and we ordered the set breakfast deal (2 bacon, sausage, tomatoes, toast, and tea for 5.50 euro) and egg, 2 bacon, mushrooms, and bubble and squeak. You order your food first then you find your table. I liked the diner feel to this place and when your order is ready, they just... More

Proper cafe full of real people eating good grub....and the chips.....yums. What a find and it's so close to Westminster. Only downside is no loo on site but that's a good excuse to visit some good pubs nearby!

Proper English Cafe serving all day breakfasts and a proper cup of tea! This place is famous for a reason - everything cooked quickly to order (had a couple of special requests) and was really tasty - didn't think I would finish the plate but it was not a problem! Love that you are called to collect the order -... More

This is the iconic English cafe. Terrific breakfast, the food top notch, traditional Englishness makes this practically perfect in every way!

So we thought it would be easy to find as I work in Vauxhall and I knew it was close by. And in essence it was once we found our way from the unscheduled stop the bus made. We walked for over an hour and eventually got there at 14:25 and were gutted to see the Opening Times board and... More

Decided to visit the Regency Cafe after reading a review on either the Independent/ Guardian about how its ratings are higher than some Michelin starred restaurants. Also the reviews on here were largely positive and I can't say 'No' to a greasy spoon brekkie! Went into central London very early to avoid the peak hour traffic. We got to the... More

I really enjoyed my visit to the Regency Cafe earlier this week, the cafe has a wonderful atmosphere, the lovely lady at the till was very helpful and the food was amazing!!! I arrived at 8.30am and the cafe was already starting to fill up with customers - a very popular spot. You have to queue and give your order... More
