Description: Mezza Express restaurant in Londons Camden is another hit from the owners of La Cigale next door. Though one notch more smart than casual, Mezza Express retains the stylish dcor, lively service and attention to detail of its sister restaurant. With taupe walls, leather seating and tables the colour of Turkish coffee, wooden floor, recessed lighting and skylight and a painting of a cedar of Lebanon, the dining room is smart enough for a date, comfortable enough to make this your local haunt. The menu covers the highlights of Lebanese cuisine, including hot and cold mezze enough for a sharing meal -- meat, fish and chicken mains.

Was going to a gig and planning on eating elsewhere but noticed a "pre-Theatre Meal" offer so gave this a try. Great value meal - not quite up the standards of the Lebanese cuisine that I came to love in the Middle East, but still good and excellent value for money comparing to other restaurants / pubs in the area.... My husband and I visited Mezza Express with a kgb coupon and had a lovely lunch. My starter of hummus with lamb strips was tasty and my husband really enjoyed his starter of Lebanese sausages in sauce. Our mains - mixed grill for me and chicken for my husband - were accompanied by rice, salad and flatbread. Pudding was the... More

I was lucky to be taken to this restaurant by a friend of the owner. We were treated to a banquet of wonderful food. Rather than chose items from the menu we asked for a selection of different dishes to be shared by our group of six people. Our table was filled with probably 12 or 15 plates of lovely... More

If the health & safety visited this place it would be shut down... Where do I begin?! THE OPEN KITCHEN WAS IN THE DARK!! There was no smell of food and only the sound of a microwave?! The one waitress wasn't going into the kitchen for food, she was microwaving bread behind the bar and getting food from an unknown... More

Amazing food, fair price, the best service I have ever had in London. A friend and I shared a few mezzes that were all absolutely delicious. Not dirt cheap but not expensive either (we ended up here after deciding the tapas place along the road was too pricey). Really surprised to see negative comments about the staff, maybe we were... I have been to this restaurant twice and both times have absolutely loved the food, but the service really lets the place down. On Friday I waited 15 minutes for a drink order to be taken and had to ask 3 waitresses to take my food order but they all seemed completely clueless. Trying to get a second drink was... More

Went here with a friend using Tastecard so starters and mains were 2-4-1. Sadly the prawns weren't in the deal so my friend had to settle for sea bass - which she said was v good. I ordered a mixed chawarma dish but the waiter advised me the mixed grill was a better deal for me as I got more... More

I visited Mezza with my family and found the experience to be a negative one and will not be going back. I bought vouchers from the internet which included two starters, 2 mains and 2 glasses of wine. Prior to purchasing the voucher I called the resturant and wanted to know if I could replace the wine for soft drinks... More

We were initially allocated a table in the dark at the back so rejected it and were given a table for 4 at the front, although there were just 2 of us. The maitre de was very friendly and hepful with our choices to start with, but when we were leaving there was no goodbye or thank you - we... More

Try the liver starter it was very authentic. Went on a Friday night but it was empty at the back and lights were off. Could do with bit of music and atmosphere. Used a voucher and you can choose from the whole menu except seafood which was reasonable. I'd recommend it especially if you can get a deal.
