My wife was given a voucher for the afternoon champagne tea as a gift for a special birthday. We had to book a good while in advance but the wait was worth it. The service was outstanding; the food was excellent as was the choice of various teas. Everything was so well presented and the staff were so attentive, offering... More

Steak sandwich, melted in your mouth, and a great choice of wines. The was soft lighting, and a harpist playing, you felt as if you were taken back to the 20's. stunning.

This was visit number four for me, bringing this time a group of friends to whom i had raved about tea at this London institution. Once again the excellent team at Claridges did not disappoint and their perfect mix of friendly formality made for another wonderful experience. I was so impressed by their provision for my friend who has a... More

Afternoon tea on a Sunday evening at Claridge's delivered a fine experience on a Sunday evening. From the first greeting to a slightly lost pair to the last farewells, the outstanding feature was the attention of the staff who judged our enjoyment of relaxed informality perfectly. Amid all of the other skills people are expected to have in prestige establishments,... More

This place is an oasis of calm amidst the hustle and bustle of the West End. Really good du Jour menu. Nice selection of wines by the glass as well as bottles. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Prices are reasonable for what you get. Definitely a place which will get return visits.

As a treat for a friend's birthday and upcoming wedding I booked tea at Claridges (and we both have a love of all things Art Deco). From the doorman to the lovely 'ladies' attendant the staff were attentive and nothing was too much trouble! We chose the Champagne tea and enjoyed a glass of delicious champagne as well as our... We visited Claridge's this week for afternoon tea to celebrate our anniversary and I was extremely impressed. Having been to other establishments in London for afternoon tea, this has been my favourite so far. All of the food was fantastic and it was all brought out separately, which meant that you could ask for more of each plate if you... More
